Dunkleosteus was the terror of the Devonian seas, a massive armored fish (placoderm) that grew up to 10 meters long. Unlike modern sharks or fish, it didn't have true teeth. Instead, its jaw featured two pairs of self-sharpening, bony plates that functioned like industrial shears. These plates slid past each other every time the mouth closed, keeping the edges razor-sharp. Its skull was heavily armored with external bone plates, and it possessed a unique four-bar linkage mechanism in its jaw that allowed it to open its mouth in just 20 milliseconds. This created a powerful vacuum, sucking prey into a bite force estimated to be capable of crushing steel.

It is then individually dipped in alcohol ink to create organic, bone-like weathering unique to every piece, before being permanently encased in crystal-clear epoxy resin for a premium, glass-like finish.
